What happened instead of naptime

We had a wonderful Christmas filled with great memories. I'll post more about that once I'm home.

Today, Charlotte refused to take an afternoon nap. What happens to babies that don't nap when they have mommies with new cameras? A photo shoot.

Hi Carrie, I'm Drena's brother. Your pictures are wonderful. I also just purchased a D90 & was wondering what lens you used in your photos today & what you used as a light source? Her eyes look amazing.

@Zane, Hi! I have really enjoyed your pics of Oliver.

I used my 50mm 1.8 lens to take these. I think I was around f-stop 3.5, shutter speed around 1/200. The light source was a window to my right, Charlotte's left.

Wow - I'm impressed that that is what your baby looks like without a nap. Consider yourself lucky! When my kids don't nap, they do not look as sweet & happy as Charlotte. :)

@Behki - thanks for stopping by. You can by the D90, turn it on Auto and get great pictures. I took a couple of classes at the Showcase School in Atlanta in order to understand my camera and features. Those classes helped me a lot to understand aperature, shutter speed, ISO, etc. Then, I just practice!
