300 on 30

I've never been more aware of how quickly time passes as I've been since the birth of Charlotte. I think it is the fact that I count down each month of her life, and time seems to pass more quickly when you are counting down the days.

Today, I am given another reminder of how quickly time passes - my 30th birthday. It is here. I don't really have any poetic reflections of my past 30 years. Only that I am pretty happy to be where I am in life. I have everything that I thought I'd have by this point in life - I'm married to my best friend, have a beautiful, healthy child, and a roof over my head. Really, turning 30 beats the alternative.

Also, today is my 300th post. That is hard to believe. So, since it is 300 on my 30th, I wanted to do a little giveaway to celebrate and thank all of my loyal blog followers.

Stacy from inkspotworkshop.com has graciously offered a $30 gift certificate to her site. All you have to do is go to her brand new website, look around, then come back here and leave a comment specifying the one item you liked the best. You have until Sunday (8/16) at midnight. I'll choose a random winner on Monday.

Happy Birthday, Carrie! That sight is Ah-Mazing. I love the stuff there. Wish I'd known about those carnival invitations last year...we did a carnival party for Hudson and it was HARD to find invitations! My favorite item there right now though is the Notes for Baby-to-Be! What a sweet idea for people to well wish the new baby! Love it!

Hey Carrie. I loved the inkspotworkshop site. I love the gift tag stickers with the daisy on them and I also love the teacher stationary. I hope your birthday has been fun. I'm sure that Judd has something fun planned. Have fun on your trip.

Hey girl!
I liked the pinwheel flower calling cards: http://www.inkspotworkshop.com/item.php?item_id=102&category_id=53
Also, do you think you could do a banner design (saved in a .jpg format) for my little business? It would need to be able to be blown up to a 2' x6' (2 feet tall, 6 feet wide). We're doing Suwanee Days and we need a banner. My business is now called "Bessie Bugs". I like funky/whimsical fonts and designs. I'll take your design to the sign place and have them make our banner. How much would something like that cost for you to design?
Thanks!!

Happy Birthday! Hope you had a great day :)

I just spent way too much time looking at that site -- very cute!! Loved the teacher notes, kid party invites, sticker tags...is that enough? :)

I liked the "hello" geese design. My grandmother refuses to really be email-riffic, so I need to write her more. And when we were kids, there were a pair of Canada Geese that always laid their eggs every year on their lake (didn't everyone's grandparents have a lake? what, only mine? oh, ok...). So they reminded me of her and reminded me that I need to write her more often.
But if I have to be honest, I clicked through to this girl's blog and saw her studio. That's what I REALLY want. Her studio. It's so clean and organized. Mine is usually 2 paint strokes away from a nightmare.
